If you think that after a bunch of successful games Mama would throw in her apron, well think again. Majesco recently announced that they will be releasing two more Cooking Mama games this year. The last two for the DS, Gardening Mama and Cooking Mama 3, were a hit especially to young audiences. This might be the reason Majesco is looking to expand Mama's talent. I for one am looking forward to what Mama will fix for us next.

I am, what some would call, a grown man. But dammit, I want more Mama games! Cooking Mama was one of the reasons I picked up a DS. It's fun and far from the usual kill-bystanders-jump-over-ledges games that I've played before. That's why I was delighted to hear that Mama has a new game coming out: Gardening Mama!

Gardening Mama features Mama planting flowers, fruits and veggies. Players can also produce jams and other garden-goodies Mama's garden produced. There's also a multiplayer mode and, as always, a dress-Mama-up feature.

Gardening Mama is slated for a Spring 2009 release.

Cooking Mama: Mama Kills Animals Flash Game

I'm all for animal rights and what-not, but I'm not always a fan of PETA and it's views. Their latest project is to protest Cooking Mama's excessive use of dishes made from dead animals.

To drive their point home, PETA has released a flash game based on Cooking Mama, Mama Kills Animals. To be fair, PETA did a good job of mimicking Mama. I enjoyed plucking the feathers and gutting the crap out of that dead turkey.

Here's Cooking Mama: Mama Kills Animals flash game. Be warned, blood and gore ahead!
