Also known as SaGa 2, Final Fantasy Legend 2 was released in 1990 by Square for the Game Boy. It was voted as the 94th best game of all time in a 2006 poll done by Famitsu. The remake gets a cel-shaded makeover and is looking quite promising.

The game is pretty interesting and rough though. If you understand Japanese it will be much better.
