The Mother series are RPG games, with knights and magicians aside. Instead, it has a modern day setting, with enemies ranging from aliens to evil hippies. Mother 3, as the name implies, is the third game from the Mother series. The first game was released in 1989 for the Famicom, and was followed in 1995 for the Super NES with a US title of EarthBound. After 12 years of development, Mother 3 was released in Japan for the Game Boy Advanced.
